Micro-Flare uses high intensity LED's to illuminate a flexible fibre optic core that lights up all around in every direction. It can be seen at distances over 200 meters. It avaialbe in five different colours with few flash option at front/side/tail. It can lasts ages (50+ hours) like most LED lights. Micro Flare is the most water resistant Fibre Flare yet.

 

Regular bike lights light up brightly in a one primary direction and generally work well for traffic approaching from behind you. However, with Micro-Flare, it maximize your side visibility so that you can notice traffic coming from the side and other angles.

LED bike lights have been around for more than 10 years with few changes. When I pick bike lights, I pick the brightest one i can get. It 's all about high visibility and being seen. MicroFlare is the one fullfill my need the most so far.
